NewsNation is set to air The Nancy Guthrie Mystery, a one-hour documentary special on the case, on May 6, 2026. As per CW TV, it will bring together all the key details of the case in one place for the first time. The special comes at a time when the public is keenly following every update from the case, especially because the 84-year-old is the mother of Today co-anchor, Savannah Guthrie. 

When and where to watch The Nancy Guthrie Mystery? 

According to CW TV, The Nancy Guthrie Mystery will air on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET. The documentary will be hosted by veteran journalist Brian Entin, who has covered the case from the beginning. The one-hour special episode will bring together all the major developments, evidence, and theories surrounding Nancy’s disappearance. Brian shared more with Parade and said the documentary is designed to connect the dots after weeks of scattered reporting. He mentioned that, after covering the case for nearly 84 days, the special will provide the audience with a complete look at the investigation so far.

The documentary will also feature criminal profilers, including Ann Burgess, Gary Brocato, and Casey Jordan. According to Brian, the experts have studied patterns from past kidnappings and violent crimes to help make a strong profile of the possible suspect. 

Who is Brian Entin? 

Since the investigation into the Nancy Guthrie case, Brian Entin has become one of the most prominent figures associated with the story. Will the Nancy Guthrie case be solved in a few weeks?

One of the most sticking developments in the case came from former FBI profiler, Jim Clemente. He told NewsNation that the mystery behind Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance might be solved within a few weeks. He suggested that the investigators could recognize the suspect soon if they successfully trace the digital communications and family-linked records. 

Jim has a theory that the person behind the 84-year-old’s disappearance may be originally trageting Savannah Guthrie, but instead he focused on Nancy as she was easy to access. Meanwhile, the investigators have found new surveillance footage showing a masked man near the 84-year-old’s neighborhood around the time she disappeared, which might give more details on that masked person.
