EXCLUSIVE: Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has been open about her wellness journey, and how she’s now found balance in her life
Unveiling her chic new collection of colourful bikinis and swimming costumes for Little Mistress, former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison wrote on Instagram, “The collection is designed to make women feel their absolute BEST… and is stocked from size 6-24. I can’t wait to see you all enjoying yourselves and wearing it this summer.”
Vicky looks confident, happy and relaxed in the range, and our source reveals that her radiant glow is all down to finally finding balance in her life.
“In the past, she’d always fail on diets,” the source said. “She felt she was never doing them right and was so tough on herself. Now she’s more easy-going with it, eating healthily and exercising and just feeling good.”

As a result, Vicky, 38, has let go of her past body hang-ups. The source continued, “She feels comfortable in herself both inside and out – and that really shows. Before, when she hasn’t felt happy in herself, she’s had anxiety about how she looks, but now she’s in a positive place and is more body confident than ever.”
Vicky, who married Ercan Ramadan, 32, in Italy in August 2024, has had to work hard to find peace with her image. In a 2024 interview, she said, “I have a very addictive personality. When I was on Geordie Shore, that centred around drinking too much and eating too much. So when I was desperate to leave that image behind, I went completely the other way. I became far too regimented with exercise and I’d count how many blueberries I put on my porridge.”
Once known for her love of boozing and big nights out, Vicky is more restrained these days.
“She’s reined in the late nights and it’s made a difference,” the source said. “She’s reset her brain, and because she’s not being overcritical or worrying about being picture-perfect, she’s less stressed, which makes her look better, too.”
As well as moderating her alcohol intake, Vicky swapped bad habits for healthier choices across the board.
“She does Pilates in the morning, then has breakfast. She’s sensible, cutting down on carbs and junk. There’s a whole new healthy feel to her life,” the source said.
It’s a far cry from 2013, when Vicky shocked fans by dropping from a size 16 to a six in under a year. But she later wrote on Instagram, “I was around 8 stone, exercised twice a day, obsessively calorie counted, deprived myself of things I wanted, lived a life scared to socialise.”
Despite her dramatic transformation, she added, “I still thought I was fat and this is the worst part – I was unhappy.”
Realising she had become a prisoner in her own body, Vicky said, “From an aesthetic point of view, I was very pleased, but I wasn’t living. I wasn’t living a life I wanted to live. I didn’t get into my health and fitness to sit at home, worrying about the calories in everything, giving birth to avocados and living on kale. It wasn’t me.”
Now a healthy weight, Vicky wants to keep her mind and body in the best possible state to have children with Ercan, who she started dating in January 2019. As revealed on her recent TV series, Vicky Pattison: Maybe Baby?, the pair dream of becoming parents.
“Trying to get pregnant is obviously part of the reason she’s on this health kick,” our source said. “She’d love to start a family and really wants that future with Ercan. Of course it can be stressful, but they’re trying not to put pressure on themselves. They’re focusing on quality time together, living healthily and trusting it will happen when the time is right.”
On the E4 two-parter, Vicky spoke about freezing her eggs at the age of 35, while expressing fears she may not make a good mother. She even wondered if she and Ercan should simply remain dog parents to their two Labradors, Milo and Max.
But opening up while on a date night, she told him, “I want a family and I want to be a mam.”
Ercan’s support is another key factor in Vicky’s new-found contentment. “Because she’s happier in herself, he feels like he’s getting Vicky at her best – full of energy, positive and relaxed,” our source said. “She’s glowing and not getting upset or ratty with him. She’s in a good place and that naturally makes their relationship even stronger.”
In the past, Vicky has been targeted by vicious trolls, and she was once even accused of lying about her struggle with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a severe form of PMS. She was also abused over her egg-freezing journey and left social media when it became too much. But she’s now refusing to let any negativity affect her.
“She’s not taking the trolling to heart or reading comments. It’s hard but you’ve got to have tough skin in this business. Vicky’s got a heart of gold and she wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s learned to deal with it while giving herself a bit more self-love.”
