Katie Price has hit back at claims that she is addicted to cannabidiol products
Katie Price has responded to concerns from her fans that she is addicted to CBD oil, as she continues to promote cannabisiol products on her trip to Dubai. The mum-of-five touched down in the UAE last week to visit her new husband Lee Andrews and has continued to promote CBD oil, a substance that’s illegal to possess and promote in Dubai.
A recent post from the star has sparked concern with fans as she revealed that she has been struggling to sleep. “I didn’t realise how amazing Supreme CBD was until I had to leave it in England,” she said in the video, explaining she had missed all the morning sun because it took her forever to nod off the night before.
Her comments immediately sparked concern from fans, who expressed worries that she might be addicted to the oil if she is unable to sleep without it.
“That’s addiction right there. Can’t live without a substance…. Imagine someone said that about whiskey or a certain relaxing pill,” said one commenter. “Addicted,” simply commented another. “Sounds like your addicted to it…” said yet another concerned fan.
In response to one of her concerned fans, Katie replied: “No it’s not addictive but I honestly couldn’t leave without it now, it helps me so much @supremecbd.”
Concern for the star has increased in weeks, following her speedy wedding to a self-described multimillionaire, Lee Andrews. Just last week, Katie Price unveiled ‘owned by Lee’ tattoo. The reality TV star revealed on Instagram her new tattoo on her ribcage, which proudly displays: “Owned by Lee” along with two hearts.
It comes after Lee got his own tribute to Katie on his back with a tattoo which says: “Owned by Katie.” He also has his wife’s name inked above his groin.
The couple initially connected on social media and it was during their first face-to-face meeting when Lee got down on one knee and popped the question to Katie, who had already been married three times. Hours later, the couple shocked friends, family and Katie’s fanbase by revealing they had tied the knot in a shotgun wedding. This was back in January, with Katie making regular trips to see Lee in Dubai since.
Katie is set to lift the lid on her latest marriage – which left her friends and family reeling – in a new four-part documentary.
The Pricey, who continues to hit the headlines on a weekly basis, has promised to discuss “the good, the bad and the ugly” parts of her life in a new documentary series: Katie Price : Nothing to Hide.
The series is being made for Sky by Louis Theroux’s production company Mindhouse, although sadly Louis will not be the one asking the former glamour model the questions.
