The 2026 Truist Championship begins Thursday, May 7, with the opening round at Quail Hollow in North Carolina. You can find full Truist Championship tee times for Thursday’s first round at the bottom of this post.

When the Truist Championship arrived last year, Cameron Young had zero PGA Tour wins and was fighting for status. A lot has changed in a year.

Now, Young is the World No. 3 after wins at last year’s Wyndham Championship, this year’s Players Championship and last week’s Cadillac Championship.

The American Ryder Cupper has +900 odds to capture his second consecutive Signature Event title… and second $3.6 million check in a row. But he’s not the betting favorite.

That position belongs to World No. 2 Rory McIlroy, who is a four-time champion at the Quail Hollow event. McIlroy is making his first start since winning the 2026 Masters in April.

Young will get his opening round started on Thursday at 1:20 p.m. ET alongside Justin Thomas, who won the 2017 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.

You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2026 Truist Championship from 2-6 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide exclusive early streaming coverage starting on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. ET, in addition to featured group and featured hole coverage.
