Pakistan ODI squad vs Australia 2026
The Pakistan Cricket Board announced a 28-man initial squad for the upcoming ODI series between Pakistan and Australia.
Saim Ayub has been left out of the team and the all-rounder will not feature in the home series against reigning world champions Australia.
The preliminary squad does not feature some of the regular stars, like captain Shaheen Afridi, who is currently with the Pakistan Test team for their ongoing series against Bangladesh.

Two U-19 players to train with the senior team at the National Cricket Academy
After announcing the tentative squad, the PCB revealed that the selected players will undergo a training camp at the National Cricket Academy. The seven-day camp will start on Friday, May 15 and run until May 21.
Two U-19 fast bowlers, Abdul Subhan and Ali Raza, have been included in the squad and the rookie stars will get training from the academy coaches.
The official statement from the PCB read: “Twenty-eight players will feature in the NCA White-Ball Camp, which will commence from Friday, 15 May, the PCB announced today. The seven-day camp will conclude on Thursday, 21 May, with players taking part in training sessions as well as practice matches.

“During the camp, the NCA coaching staff will work alongside the men’s team white-ball coaching staff to better prepare the players for the series. The camp also includes Pakistan U19 fast bowlers Abdul Subhan and Ali Raza, who represented Pakistan in the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup held in Zimbabwe and Namibia earlier this year.”
