Ravindra Bharathi will see the sixth edition of the Classical Concert Series on May 23, where singer Raghab Chatterjee will perform in aid of Autism Ashram. The programme is being organised by the Sangitanjaly Foundation in association with the government’s department of language and culture.

The concert will begin at 7 pm. Chatterjee is known for his work in classical, film, Sufi and fusion music. He will be accompanied by Prangopal Bandopadhyay on tabla and Kamalakhya Mukherjee on harmonium.

Abhijeeth Bhattacharjee and Pt. Prodyut Mukherjee of Sangitanjaly Foundation said the organisation wanted to connect classical music with social responsibility through the annual series.

Chatterjee trained under his mother Shila Chatterjee, Dr Amya Ranjan Banerjee and later Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy. He has sung in films including ‘Devdas’, ‘Parineeta’, ‘Raincoat’ and ‘Tere Naam’, and has performed across India and abroad.
