Lee Andrews is apparently in a race against time to save his marriage to Katie Price, after he failed to show up for a joint Good Morning Britain interview.
Self-proclaimed millionaire Lee was due to appear with Katie in a joint Good Morning Britain interview earlier this week to discuss their whirlwind romance. He repeatedly promised he’ll fly out to the UK but despite sharing multiple videos from an airport, yet he has yet to arrive in the UK.
This led to Katie sharing with her followers that her husband made her “look a massive d*ck” by his no-show. It is now claimed that Lee is on thin ice, as a friend of the star has revealed: “Lee is in a race against time to keep Katie under his spell.”
“He reacted angrily to criticism over his no-show – even issuing a threat on Instagram to a journalist reporting the facts – but now he realises he’s on borrowed time,” the source told The Sun.
“He’s scrambling to prove himself to Katie however, she’s thousands of miles away and surrounded by loved ones who are begging her to see through his lies.
They claimed that until Lee lands in the UK, for Katie, everything he says is “meaningless”, adding: “Lee has always had an answer for his naysayers, but until he touches down in the UK or admits to having a travel ban, everything he says is meaningless. Katie is so close to finally being able to see through his lies after being hoodwinked.”
There are various rumours that Lee is banned from leaving Dubai – despite claims from the businessman he will move to the UK in May. Reports suggest he is currently subject to a travel ban after spending three weeks in jail last year for allegedly obtaining funds by deception – which he has repeatedly denied.
While opening up to her sister Sophie on her podcast, Sophie told Katie that she was being “mugged off” by Lee: “We’re not going to argue about this. We’re not. It’s not worth it I just feel like he’s massively mugging you off. And he’s done it publicly on live TV.”
Katie agreed and replied: “I said to him, ‘You’ve made me look a massive d*ck. You’ve made yourself look a d*ck.’ It’s now become a soap opera. Something from EastEnders of ‘is he coming, is he not coming?’ Like, it’s all been built up.
“But at the end of the day, it’s between me and him. It’s not really anyone else, but he hasn’t made it to the UK and I’ve said to him he needs to make it to the UK because if he doesn’t there is obviously something not right going on, and if he does make it to England, it’ll shut all of the rumours up.
“At the moment, everyone thinks he’s on a flight ban, this and that. I said it does look weird that you haven’t come to England and I keep going to Dubai.”
Katie said the only way out of this is for her man to “come here now”, seemingly giving Lee an ultimatum. She said she has “flagged it big time” to him regarding his constant excuses about not flying over to see her.
This morning, it appears that Katie has ditched her engagement and wedding ring, as she has shared snaps with her eldest child – without her ring.
