Luck was on the Carolina Panthers’ side in 2025.

Even though Bryce Young and co. went 8-9 and lost in Week 18 to their division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the scrappy team advanced to the postseason.

Once there, their odd duck fairytale season came to a screeching halt after they were bested by the Los Angeles Rams 34-31 in the NFC Wild Card Round, which also happened to be the Panthers’ first playoff appearance since January 2018.

“When we came here as a staff, our whole goal was to create a brand of football that we can be proud of. And that’s what we’re doing,” head coach Dave Canales said in a postgame press conference. “We’re building something from the ground up—from the basics, the fundamentals and the technique and all that and trying to build it the right way.”

And, now, that the NFL has rolled out their 2026 schedule, we know who Canales’ club will face next season.

Just a few of the most notable contests heading to Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium include Caleb Williams’ Chicago Bears (Sept. 13), Jared Goff’s Detroit Lions (Oct. 4), Bo Nix’s Denver Broncos (Nov. 8), Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens (Nov. 22) and Sam Darnold’s Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks (Jan. 3, 2027).

Over the course of the offseason, general manager Dan Morgan got to work to make sure the team was up for the challenge.

Notable signings include disruptive linebacker Jaelan Phillips, veteran backup quarterback Kenny Pickett, solid center Luke Fortner, journeyman offensive tackle Stone Forsythe and weapon-like wideout John Metchie III.

They’ll be joined by splashy draft picks Monroe Freeling, Lee Hunter and Chris Brazzell II as well as returning stars Young, Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, Tetairoa McMillan and Taylor Moton.

All that’s missing is you.
