Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed profound grief over the demise of former High Court Judge and ex-Chairman of the Telangana State Human Rights Commission, Justice G. Chandrayya.
He noted that Justice Chandrayya had rendered exemplary service in the legal field as Standing Counsel for various departments, a member of the High Court Legal Services Committee, and as Government Pleader.
The Chief Minister recalled that Justice Chandrayya, hailing from Thimmapur in Jannaram Mandal of the erstwhile Adilabad district, had delivered several landmark judgments on issues such as social inequalities and human rights violations.
Describing his demise as an irreparable loss to the judicial system, the Chief Minister prayed to God for eternal peace to Justice Chandrayya’s soul. He also conveyed his deepest condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family members of Chandrayya.
