Nora Gazal, the sister of The Real Housewives of Sydney star, Nicole Gazal O’Neil, and Michael Milling, the director of timber floor supplier Woodos, have put their glamorous Vaucluse home on the market with a price guide of $10 million to $11 million.
Nicole starred on all three seasons of the reality TV franchise and was crowned Miss Australia in 2002. Her latest venture is BonPatch, a brand of wearable wellness patches that are said to release vitamins and botanicals into your system.
The two-storey, four-bedroom, four-bathroom house was purchased by Nora and Michael for $4.6 million in 2019, records show, and was understood to be their matrimonial home following their wedding at hotspot Catalina a year prior.
A full renovation was completed, transforming the abode into a luxurious design with a showpiece marble kitchen, statement pendant lighting, biophilic timber floors and an al fresco garden sanctuary. There is an outdoor kitchen and barbecue, and Harbour Bridge views.
The previous design was somewhat dated, with a country-style kitchen, a white palette and a Hills Hoist out the back.
Nora is the marketing manager for Gazcorp, a property company that was founded in 1971 by her late father, Nabil Gazal, and develops, builds and manages commercial and residential real estate, according to the company website.
Nora and Nicole’s brothers, Nabil Gazal Junior, and Nicholas Gazal, are listed as directors. Nabil Junior is the former boyfriend of publicity queen Roxy Jacenko.
An auction has been scheduled for Thursday, May 21, and Ray White Double Bay’s Alan Fettes and Elliott Placks are the listing agents. Both declined to comment on the vendor’s identities and reason to sell when contacted by this masthead.
Swimwear designer to make a splash?
Dax Bykerk, one half of the design duo behind Baku swimwear, and his wife, Renee, appear to have had a change of heart, listing their Newport mansion they purchased three years ago with a price guide of $12.5 million to $13 million.
The couple bought the five-bedroom, six-bathroom property for $11.2 million in 2023 from Viper Capital co-founder Simon White, records show. Vitamin mogul Marcus Blackmore sold the residence to White for $8,125,000 in 2020.
This masthead previously reported that the abode was understood to be a matrimonial home for the Bykerks, and the purchase came after the sale of their $11.2 million Bondi Beach house.
The Newport mansion features high angular ceilings, a statement stone fireplace wall, contemporary galley-style kitchen, a near all-white palette and expansive glass to capture the sweeping Pittwater views.
Leisure is at the forefront, with a cellar, cinema, deepwater jetty and pool, pool house and a private sandy beach. There is also inclinator access.
Baku is a family-owned Australian company with brother and sister duo Dax and Tamara Bykerk at the helm. The original brand, Bubbles Beach Co, was founded in 1969 by their parents, John and Sue Bykerk, and in 1995, the Baku label was introduced. In 1999, the company was transferred to Dax and Tamara, as stated on the company website.
McGrath Pittwater and Avalon’s James Baker and Lauren Garner are handling the property campaign.
Grand Point Piper listing
A waterfront mansion in prized Point Piper has hit the market with a price guide of a cool $50 million to $55 million, local sources have revealed.
Listing agents for the four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence with its own jetty, boat shed and harbourside pool, were tight-lipped when asked about the vendors’ identities by this masthead.
However, title records show the property is in the company name of Haduso Pty Ltd, where Chow Kwok Ching, the son of late Singaporean property developer Chow Cho Poon, is listed as one of a few directors. Transfer documents show Haduso Pty Ltd paid $343,000 for the address in 1977.
Michael Dunn of Richardson & Wrench Double Bay did say that the home had been “mostly leased” throughout the years, and its waterfront location would suit boating enthusiasts.
Interiors feature polished floorboards, whitewashed walls and high ceilings. There is a gas kitchen, a main bedroom with a private terrace, and an annexe that could be made into a studio, gym, office or teen retreat.
Point Piper’s market includes notable owners such as tech entrepreneur Scott Farquhar, who paid $130 million for Uig Lodge, media baron Lachlan Murdoch, who bought a $38.5 million boat house, and former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull. Freight boss Terry Tzaneros, and his wife, Anne, bought a $38 million mansion there in 2021. It’s next door to the $200 million-plus home of Aussie Home Loans founder John Symonds.
Dunn is selling the Point Piper mansion in conjunction with James Dunn and Maclay Longhurst of Sydney Sotheby’s International Realty.
