Kakinada:Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president P.V.N. Madhav said the party is conducting training programmes for cadres under the “Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Prasikshana” initiative, with training already completed in 80 per cent of mandals.
Participating as chief guest at a party training camp held at a function hall in Thorredu of Rajamahendravaram Rural mandal on Saturday, Madhav said district-level training programmes have now been initiated after completion of mandal-level sessions. He said training programmes were mandatory within the BJP and were based on a nationalist ideology.
Inaugurating the programme, Rajamahendravaram Lok Sabha member D. Purandeswari said the BJP was a principled and disciplined party that instils patriotism among the people.
Anaparthi MLA Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy, MLC Somu Veerraju, East Godavari district BJP president Pikki Nagendra and others participated in the programme.
