‘Dhurandhar 2’ Not Releasing On Indian OTT Yet; Where And Where To Stream The Ranveer Singh Starrer?

Aditya Dhar’s historic blockbuster directorial, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is finally heading to OTT, but fans in India will still have to wait before they can stream the Ranveer Singh starrer. The spy thriller, which smashed the box office records earlier this year, is already streaming overseas on Netflix and Hotstar from May 15, 2026. However, there is a new two-phase rollout strategy for Indian OTT. 

Dhurandhar 2 to be streamed on two OTT platforms in India

While international audiences can already stream the film, Dhurandhar 2 is planned to be released on both Netflix and JioHotsar. It has been announced that Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Raw & Undekha will be released on JioHotstar first, premiering on June 4, 2026, at 7:00 PM (IST), but the full movie will be available for streaming from June 5 onward.

With the movie already streaming internationally, many Indian fans have been left disappointed, wondering what caused the delay. According to reports, the delay is mainly linked to the ongoing IPL 2026 season, as JioHotstar strategically spaced out the film’s release window. But that is not the end of the OTT rollout. Netflix India is reportedly set to stream the film on June 19, 2026. 

Regarding the two-phase OTT release structure, reports say Netflix has secured the international digital rights for Dhurandhar 2, while JioHotstar acquired the Indian streaming rights for a massive Rs 150 crore deal. Unlike the first film, which was exclusively streamed on Netflix after its theatrical run, its blockbuster success in global theatres may have contributed to this shift in decision.

What is the ‘Raw & Undekha’ version of Dhurandhar 2?

Reports claim that the OTT cut titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Raw & Undekha will include extra scenes and dialogues that were trimmed during theatrical certification. While the original theatrical run was for 3 hours and 49 minutes (3 hours and 55 minutes internationally), the extended digital version reportedly runs close to four hours, this time including some of the violent action sequences that CBFC trimmed in India.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge hit the worldwide theatres on March 19, 2026, and became not only the year’s theatrical release, but also one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. The film reportedly earned Rs 1,783 crore worldwide, including over Rs 1,153 crore in India alone. Some theatres in India are still running the film, even two months after the release.

The film follows ‘Hamza Ali Mazari’, also known as ‘Jaskirat Singh Rangi’ (Ranveer Singh), who infiltrates ‘Rehman Dakait’s’ network before eventually taking over the empire as Sher-E-Baloch. However, beneath the rise to power lies a carefully planned revenge mission. The ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, and others, has earned massive praise for their performance.

Is Dhurandhar 3 on the cards?

Well, speculations have already started around the third installment of Dhurandhar, and the excitement is at an all-time high. Recently, Jio Studios co-producer Jyoti Deshpande hinted that the franchise may continue, teasing that the makers “have something up their sleeves.”
