Katie Price has issued a fresh plea to her husband, Lee Andrews, over a week after the self-proclaimed millionaire was allegedly kidnapped while apparently travelling to the UK
Katie Price has said she ‘misses’ her husband. It’s been over a week since Lee Andrews disappeared without a trace while allegedly travelling to the UK.
The former glamour model told fans last week that, during a FaceTime call with Andrews on Wednesday, May 13, he was in the back of a van with his hands tied. Although they were not handcuffed. Andrews told Price he was being detained, then retracted the comment.
He was apparently travelling to the UK, two days after missing his first flight, when he was due to appear on Good Morning Britain. But while Katie recently said she’s taking a step back and focusing on herself, she has now taken to social media to issue a plea to her husband.
Sharing a collection of snaps of herself and Lee, following their first meeting in January, two days before they married, Katie sang along to Get Here, originally by Oleta Adams. Lyrics included in Price’s rendition included: “You can reach me by sailboat, climb a tree and swing rope to rope, take a sled and slide downslope, you can jump on a speedy colt, cross the border in a blaze of hope.
“I don’t care how you get here, just get here if you can.” She captioned her upload: “Missing my husband so much it breaks my heart knowing he is still missing so I did this song quick as words mean so much to the situation.”
However, fans of Price have expressed their concern for the star. One fan said: “So sorry but you need to wake up and smell the coffee.” “Pack it in, he’s ghosted you for over a week and ignored you on your birthday,” said a second. While a third went on to write: “Girl no, he ain’t the one, run.”
Some, however, defended Katie’s actions, with one writing: “I think people need to remember regardless if he is all these things that people are saying, Katie still has feelings and whatever went on between them that was felt by Katie, so before we judge remember she is a human being that has somehow got to grieve and navigate what is happening which is real to her!”
“Katie, he doesn’t deserve you. You deserve so much better. Enjoy the rest of your birthday with people who love you,” said another. Katie is also said to be “disgusted” at Lee for not contacting her on her birthday, yet seemingly following another woman on social media all the while, whilst he is still “missing”.
“Katie is disgusted and appalled. Today is her birthday yet she’s heard nothing from her husband but seeing him follow another woman online is just outrageous,” a source told The Sun.
She had said she was stepping back from it all and leaving the search to the authorities. She said: “I’ve never known a week of so much stuff everywhere. My brain has just been bonkers.
“Everyone’s seen my YouTube – there’s nothing more for me to say apart from the police are now handling it. The British police, British consulate, Foreign Office, Interpol; they’re all on the case now looking for Lee. My tentacles are up, I’m not stupid. There’s one person I need to look after, myself.
“I’m taking a step back and that’s it. I don’t know what’s true and what’s not true. I don’t know. My antennas are up and I’ve decided to take a step back from everything and assess everything in my way. What will be will be.”
