Rs 1,000 Cr Granted for Works on Pushkaralu

Hyderabad:The Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday approved allocation of Rs 1,000 crore for taking up works related to the Godavari Pushkaralu scheduled to be held from June 26 to July 7 next year. The Cabinet gave approval for release of Rs 300 crore as the first instalment for execution of the works ahead of the mega religious event.

The Cabinet also approved allocation of Rs 587 crore towards land acquisition, rehabilitation and development of infrastructure facilities for the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift irrigation scheme.

The Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy Cabinet on Saturday cleared a slew of proposals.

District cooperative marketing societies (DCMSs) to be merged with Markfed.

Telangana Rural Infrastructure Corporation (TGRIC) to be merged with HACA (Hyderabad Agricultural Cooperative Association),

20 regular teaching posts, six non-teaching posts and three outsourcing posts sanctioned for the newly established degree college at Gangadhara mandal headquarters in Karimnagar district.

18 posts okayed for the fire station at Kesamudram in Mahbubabad district.

Land to be allocated for establishment of Assam Rifles, Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) group centres in Karimnagar district.

This includes four acres at Veladi in Manakondur mandal, five acres each at Rukmapur in Choppadandi mandal and in Ganneruvaram mandal.
