Hyderabad: Telangana BJP launched a three-day ‘Rythu Gosa – BJP Bharosa’ yatra to address farmers’ grievances and assure support to the farming community across the state.
The yatra is being led by BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao, with participation from several senior leaders. The party aims to understand the problems faced by farmers and criticise the Congress government’s alleged failure in addressing their concerns.
Among those taking part in the yatra are BJP Legislature Party leader A. Maheshwar Reddy, MLC leader A.V.N. Reddy, MPs D. K. Aruna, Eatala Rajender and Raghunandan Rao, along with several MLAs, MLCs and party functionaries.
The BJP stated that the yatra is intended to expose what it termed as the anti-farmer stance of the Congress government while standing in support of Telangana farmers.
