Jubilant midfielder Declan Rice, 27, was joined on the pitch by his girlfriend Lauren Fryer and their son as Arsenal celebrated after lifting the Premier League trophy

Declan Rice’s girlfriend Lauren Fryer swatted aside the despicable trolls to mark her man’s big moment. It was a rare public appearance together as they celebrated after he lifted the Premier League trophy on the final day of the season with their young son.

The Arsenal star has been forced to shield his partner in recent years despite being an item for a decade, with 27-year-old Declan and Lauren opting to keep their relationship out of the limelight. They put that to one side to posed together at Selhurst Park as the newly-crowned champions showed off their new silverware.

Lauren and their son Jude were among the family members invited onto the pitch at full-time after their crowning glory. They hope it’s not the last big celebration as the Gunners look to complete the double when they face PSG in the Champions League final this weekend.

Lauren has been subjected to a barrage of online abuse, forcing her to remove all photos from her Instagram account, despite boasting over 100,000 followers.

The appalling harassment of her began in December 2023 when an anonymous account told the England star he “could do better”.

Declan faced jibes from another lowlife about having “no standards” for dating his girlfriend, leading to the the mum-of-one wiping her social media clean of all pictures and photos. She still refuses to show herself on her page three years on.

In a heartfelt response to the trolls, Declan declared Lauren as the “love of his life”, firmly stating he “doesn’t need an upgrade”, after being nastily prodded to do so.

The couple met at school and started dating when they were 17, and have been inseparable ever since. Lauren, who hails from Chessington, has supported the footballer throughout his career, from his debut with West Ham to his lucrative transfer to the Emirates.

They also share a dog – Raffa the pooch – which was a Christmas gift from the athlete. It’s thought that the adorable pup joined their family following a romantic getaway to Paris.
