The relentless search for Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today show’s Savannah Guthrie, has officially passed its 100th day mark, but no suspect has been officially identified yet. With what has now become one of America’s most mysterious cases, freshly surfaced dispatch audio allegedly tied to the 84-year-old’s disappearance has fuelled a new wave of speculation online.
The recordings began circulating online this week through news reporter Juanita Adame and top X accounts actively documenting the Nancy Guthrie case. The YouTube video appears to include emergency dispatch chatter from February 1, 2026, the day Nancy vanished from her Arizona home.
Newly surfaced 911 audio mentions cameras, blood, and hospital searches for a ‘Jane Doe’
Juanita’s video, posted on Monday, May 26, 2026 (ET), shares a detailed account of her own research and officially available information around Nancy Guthrie’s missing case. One of the most widely shared clips, also shared by reporter JLR Investigates on X, allegedly captures responders discussing nearby surveillance footage in the Tucson area. In the audio, a dispatcher can be heard saying:
“Can we start checking the adjacent properties to see if anyone’s got cameras that might be facing this way? Family here does not have access to the cameras on the property.”
In case you missed it, the law enforcement officials were unable to initially access Nancy’s doorbell camera footage as it had been disconnected and had no subscription. It was days later that the FBI successfully extracted a few seconds of the Nest camera footage that showed a masked perpetrator on Nancy’s door, now popularly cited as the “Porch Guy“. Another recording that has raised eyebrows appears to reference blood evidence found at the crime scene. A dispatcher’s instruction can be heard:
“Try not to disturb any of the items in the house. We’re getting ahold of a scent tracking dog so try to stay away from the blood outside and anything inside the house that could hold a scent.”

Did Annie Guthrie call local hospitals to find Nancy?
JLR Investigates on X, who has been actively posting updates about Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance from day one, shared the video link, especially focusing on another reported dispatch exchange involving a ‘Jane Doe’ search at hospitals, which some believe may have referred to Nancy Guthrie.

The dispatch clips have reignited debate about the timeline surrounding Nancy’s disappearance, particularly involving Savannah Guthrie’s sister, Annie. JLR Investigates pointed to Savannah Guthrie’s earlier interview with Hoda Kotb, where Savannah recalled Annie calling family members after checking hospitals for Nancy. He wrote:
“This is very interesting. 1:17pm dispatched said Jane Doe ( presumably Nancy Guthrie ) not in any of the hospitals. Savannah said in a Hoda interview that Annie called her & said they checked all the hospitals, she not there. It means Annie called Savannah at least after 1:17 pm.”

The theory circulating online suggests Annie may have contacted Savannah sometime after the reported dispatch exchange regarding hospital searches. However, none of these timeline theories has been officially confirmed by investigators.
New audio fuels speculations about Nancy Guthrie’s investigation
It is important to note that neither BollywoodShaadis nor reporter Juanita Adame can verify that the dispatch audio was indeed taken from Nancy Guthrie’s case itself. In her YouTube video, Juanita repeatedly cautioned viewers that the recordings have not been officially verified as belonging to the Nancy Guthrie investigation. She explained that she spent nearly three days sorting through police radio frequencies from February 1, 2026, while attempting to piece together what may have been connected to the case. She said:
“t took me about 3 days to decipher what was possibly related to the Nancy Guthrie investigation… Some conversations seemed directly related to Nancy Guthrie, while others could have been about another missing person.”

At one point in the video, Juanita addressed speculation over whether authorities initially believed Nancy may have voluntarily walked away. Many users have been wondering, “Did Nancy Guthrie voluntarily walk away from her home, hence the untraceability?” Juanita says reporters were “automatically told right away that Nancy was not a walk away.” She ultimately stressed that much of the online analysis remains speculative. She added:
“Are these reports even related to the Nancy Guthrie disappearance? There’s no way of knowing. Only the department would know.”

Meanwhile, authorities continue to analyse forensic evidence, including unidentified DNA recovered from the property. Nancy Guthrie remains missing.
