The police stated that the accused company was withholding about `14 crores wallet balance of the users. It was informed to the court company attempted to mislead and induce migration of T-Wallet users, to its private application “TA One App”, by withholding their funds.

The government had selected Purview India Consulting and Services LLP as the new operator after a fresh tender process conducted in 2025. Authorities alleged that the transition was stalled due to non-cooperation by the outgoing firm. Earlier, the High Court had directed the police to not take any coercive steps against the firm.
