Hyderabad: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday paid rich tributes to erstwhile Andhra Pradesh former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao on the occasion of 103rd birth anniversary.
In a post on ‘X’, he said, “On the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) — the globally renowned leader, revered by Telugu people, and a living embodiment of the saying, ‘If there is agriculture, humans become sages and great souls’ — I offer my profound tributes to the great man.”
“Born on May 28, 1923 in Nimmakuru of Krishna district, NTR remains eternally enshrined in the hearts of Telugu people as a cause for their lives. In the cinematic firmament, he left an indelible mark as Rama, as Krishna. He was the modern social reformer who brought massive changes to the lives of Telugu people. I offer my heartfelt homage once again to that epochal figure,” he added.
