Are Kristy And Desmond Scott Fighting Over Terms Of Divorce Amid His Infidelity? Here’s What We Know

After the shocking fallout between Kristy Sarah, and Desmond Scott, the duo remained silent about their divorce proceedings. But newly surfaced court documents suggest that the former couple has already discussed significant arrangements for their wealth, custody, and more in their divorce. It gives an insight into how the formal couple is managing the breakdown of their 11-year marriage. Although Kristy mentioned that infidelity was the reason for the separation, the new documents mention how they are working step-by-step to finalize their split. 

Are Kristy and Desmond Scott fighting over the terms of their divorce?

According to the court documents obtained by US Weekly, Kristy and Desmond Scott signed an “Agreed Final Decree of Divorce” on March 17, 2026. It means they reached a mutual agrement within just two months of filing for their divorce. The court documents also has a settlement agreement that tells how the former couple will divide their collective assets. Despite the emotional strain of infidelity in their marriage, Kristy and Desmond managed to reach a mutual agreement on many important issues. 

A major decision concerned the future of their two sons, Vance, 7, and Westin, 6. According to the agreement, Kristy will have the exclusive right to decide their children’s primary residence within Harris County, Texas. However, she and Desmond will continue to share the responsibility of their children, especially when it comes to their education or future. The documents also explained that their parenting arrangement has been designed to engage in “a close and continuing relationship” between the children and both parents. At the same time, it has details about their holiday schedules and parenting time. 

The filings mention that Desmond will spend Thanksgiving with the kids during odd-numbered years. At the same time, Kristy will have them during even-numbered years. Likewise, the Christmas holidays will alternate in the opposite way. Desmond will have the kids on Father’s Day, while Mother’s Day will be reserved for Kristy. It also allows reasonable electronic communication with the children when they are staying with the other parent. At the same time, there is no formal monthly child support arrangement between them. Instead, both parents will contribute directly toward their kids’ expenses. 

Why did Desmond Scott have to say anything about Kristy’s infidelity claims?

Details about Kristy and Desmond Scott’s divorce documents came to light after the former filed for a legal separation on December 30, 2025. As per the initial filings, the influencer mentioned that infidelity was the reason behind the end of their marriage. However, she has not shared any specific details about it in public. On the other hand, Desmond addressed the separation publicly on Instagram Stories. Although he did not directly discuss the allegations, he admitted he made some wrong decisions. In his words:

“Toward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and I had conversations with Kirsty regarding this. During this period, I made choices that I am not proud of.” 

Kristy and Desmond Scott went from childhood friends to lovers’ 

Kristy Sarah, and Desmond Scott first met in middle school when they were 14. Soon, they quickly became close friends before eventually starting a relationship. They tied the knot at a young age in 2014. For those unaware, Kristy was 19, and Desmond was 20 at that time. Gradually, they built a family and made a successful online brand together. In fact, they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in 2014 and mentioned how growing up together and maintaining a sense of humor kept their bond strong. In the same year, they hosted a “redo wedding” to celebrate a decade of their bond.
