Maya Jama is reportedly set to start filming for a new TV show in America in between her commitments to ITV as she continues to film Love Island in the Spanish island of Majorca

There are perhaps many ways to fully recover from a split, some try out a new hairstyles while others use retail therapy to ease the pain. But it looks as though Maya Jama’s method is one to be noted as she has reportedly landed a huge TV show in America and is set to start filming in the coming weeks.

It was reported last month that the presenter, 31, had split from her Manchester City footballer ex Ruben Dias amid speculation of infidelity during their relationship.

This is a claim the footballer has vehemently denied and even took to social media to refute the accusations.

Despite her commitments to ITV as she continues to film this year’s Love Island, Maya will be darting across the pond to meet with TV executives in a bid to start the ball rolling with her secretive new project.

“Maya’s schedule is really exciting,” a source told The Sun. “She is more sought after than ever and is loving all the different projects she has going on.

“Maya thrives off being busy and manifesting her career goals — she definitely isn’t heartbroken and licking her wounds.”

They added: “Maya always kept her home in London but she might not be there for much anyway with her filming schedule taking her across Europe and the US in the coming months.”

Just as a little reminder of what he’s lost, pictures of her Agent Provocateur shoot have now surfaced showing off her incredibly enviable body in a vast array of swimwear.

And it looks as though there is no escaping her as she is also appearing in the second series of Guy Ritchie’s Netflix TV show The Gentlemen.

Reports of her split came to light last month, ending an 18-month relationship. Making their break-up public knowledge, they reportedly removed pictures of each other from their social media accounts.

At the time it had been rumoured that he had cheated on her during their relationship but the pair refused to address the rumours at the time.

But it seems Ruben had a change of heart last week as he took to his social media and publicly denied the claims. This comes after he said he drew the line at his grandfather asking him if he had cheated on Maya.

In an emotional post, he penned: “When my 85-year-old grandad is asking me if I’ve cheated on my girlfriend because he’s seen it repeatedly on the news, that’s where I draw the line. Maya and I have always had a relationship built on mutual respect. No line was ever crossed in that regard.
