Former Love Island star Maura Higgins showed off her incredibly toned figure as she walked the runway at Miami Swim Week in a pink bikini and later opted for a more daring after-party outfit
Maura Higgins is perhaps known for stealing the red carpet show with her show-stopping outfits. But the former Love Island star decided to take things one step further in a bid to be memorable during Miami Swim Week.
The reality TV star, 35, who has slowly been edging her way forward to make a name for herself in America, took to the runway in a skimpy pink bikini. She teamed her look with a blue sarong draped over her waist.
And it certainly looked as though she was in her element as she turned to the crowd and gave onlookers a cheeky grin as she made her way off the catwalk. But her show-stopping performance did not end there as she later turned up to the event’s after-party topless while wearing a sheer red dress.
Posing for pictures, Maura appeared unfazed at the level of attention she was receiving. Many have become accustomed to the TV personality across the pond after starring in Traitors US.
And she is now set to star in the upcoming series of Dancing With The Stars. Maura had her first taste of fame back in 2019 when she appeared on the fifth series of Love Island. Viewers eagerly watched as she got involved in heated arguments, showcased her wit and comedic timing, and admired her confident attitude.
And since leaving the villa, her career has gone from strength to strength. She has not only presented Love Island USA: Aftersun, but she has also appeared on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, and most recently, took part in the US version of Traitors. There has also been talk that she is in talks to land herself a role in a Hollywood film, but that is yet to be confirmed.
Earlier this year, she rubbed shoulders with Hollywood elite, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone, at the Golden Globes. Walking along the red carpet, Maura looked every inch an A-list star in a floor-length black gown. The star was later stopped for a picture by rapper Snoop Dogg, further cementing her position among the higher echelon of celebrity in America.
And now, on the back of her newfound fame, she has signed a collaboration deal with TRESemmé UK Professional. Speaking about her new venture earlier this month, she took to Instagram and wrote: “Been working on something behind the scenes for the past few months now amidst my busy schedule… and I’m so excited to finally share it.”
She added: “I’m the new Head of Hair for @tresemmeuk Professional. I’ve worked closely with TRESemmé for quite some time now, creating some amazing looks, so being part of their new chapter feels really special to me.
She concluded her post adding: “We’ve created such an exciting campaign together and I honestly cannot wait for you all to see more.” And it didn’t take long for fans to rush to the comment section of her post. One fan wrote: “Oh HAIR she is. Amazing Maur!!” Another person said: “SHE DOESN’T SLEEP!!!!!!! Icon.”
Meanwhile a third penned: “Congratulations Maura you’ll make an incredible Head of Hair for @tresemmeuk. My favourite hair brand.”
And announcing her stint on Dancing With The Stars, the official social media account of the TV show wrote: “She went from looking for love to looking for who to trust, and now she’s looking to win the Mirrorball. We’re welcoming @maurahiggins to #DWTS on ABC, Disney+, and Hulu this fall!”
