However, what further surprised the fans was that, instead of going for a white wedding dress, the singer opted for a Schiaparelli two-piece, completed by a stunning necklace.

With access to some of the best fashion pieces in existence, fans were curious to see what the IDGAF singer would wear for her big day with Callum Turner, and as it turns out, her idea of a perfect wedding dress was not a dress at all and instead a beautiful Schiaparelli two-piece moment. In a hush-hush wedding on May 31, 2026 (BST), Lipa didn’t forget about the three rules of the wedding and turned her now-husband, Turner, into her something ‘blue’ and borrowed her dress inspiration from Bianca Jagger, with a stunning ‘new’ necklace to complete her look. 

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner tied the knot after just being together for two years, but like Taylor Swift said in Opalite, “when you know, you know”, and nothing could be any truer for the couple. They got hitched in an intimate ceremony at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall, a venue that has previously hosted rock-star weddings including Liam Gallagher, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney.

Coming to their wedding esembles, in photos obtained by The Sun, Lipa wore a custom white skirt suit by Schiaparelli couture, designed by Daniel Roseberry. It featured a tailored ivory cady blazer with “personalised gold bijoux buttons, a sculpted bustier trimmed with white lace and a matching asymmetric skirt, with the sculptural”. Yes! We are talking about the iconic two-piece number worn by Bianca Jagger when she wed Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, at a Saint-Tropez wedding on May 12, 1971. According to reports, she wore a”Yves Saint Laurent Le Smoking jacket, sans blouse and with just one button done up, over a bias-cut silk skirt, finished with a floppy sunhat, a veil and peep-toe heels”. Jagger became an icon by wearing the outfit that screamed “swagger” in the era of long trains and poofy dresses.

Dua Lipa’s wedding ensemble was further completed by a wide-brimmed Stephen Jones hat, white gloves and pointed Christian Louboutin pumps detailed with the house’s lion-eye motif. However, what really caught everyone’s attention was the necklace worn by the New Rules singer. Lipa wore a Bvlgari Serpenti necklace to complete her wedding look. According to Jewels Aficionado, the Bvlgari necklace is “crafted in 18-karat white gold, this Serpenti necklace is a stunning example of Bvlgari’s artistry and innovation. A remarkable vintage creation, last known retail price USD 600,000.”

Callum Turner and Dua Lipa to have a second wedding in Sicily?

According to the grapevine, celebrations are not yet over for Callum Turner and Dua Lipa. Some reports have alleged that the couple will soon decamp to Sicily for a second, multi-day celebration near Palermo, with longtime friend Donatella Versace already working on something more traditional.
