Moving away from themes of diplomatic reconciliation between the two nations, the film is set to offer a more hard-edged, action-led story. According to a source quoted by Bollywood Hungama, “There is no India-Pak joint mission angle in the film.” The source further clarified, “It is not a cross-border story centred on diplomatic reconciliation between the two countries.”

Instead, the film will delve into the making of a killer. The story follows a girl who is raised from childhood to become a killing machine. Described as a lone wolf, the character carries the scars of a brutal upbringing that has shaped her into one of the deadliest assassins within the YRF Spy Universe. She is trained to survive on her own and to trust nobody.

The film is set to celebrate India’s bravery as it faces its enemies, positioning the story as a high-stakes, edge-of-the-seat action entertainer. By focusing on this personal journey, the film marks a departure from earlier storylines in the spy franchise.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, known for The Railway Men, Alpha features a stellar cast including Sharvari alongside Alia Bhatt. The film also stars Bobby Deol as the antagonist with Anil Kapoor playing a key role. The film will release in theatres on July 3.
