Terrifying footage of Jamie and Rebekah Vardy’s villa in Italy being ransacked has emerged as they document their Italian move in their new reality series

Terrifying footage of Jamie and Rebekah Vardy’s villa in Italy being ransacked has emerged.

The pair moved out to Italy for Jamie’s work and document that journey in their new reality show. However, in a terrifying turn of events, masked men broke into their home with crow bars and stole cash, watches and jewellery worth £80,000.

The family were out and watching Jamie playing for Cremonese when their Lake Garda villa was broken into. They knew something was wrong as soon as they stepped into the villa.

Speaking about what had happened, she explained: “I knew someone had been in and taken my stuff. You can clearly see five armed guys with crow bars, balaclavas. What happened has just been a nightmare and has always been one of my biggest fears,” said Becky on the couple’s new TV show.

“Right now I feel totally violated. The thought of someone going through your house and taking your stuff.”

In their new show, Rebekah explained that she found it all very difficult making the move.

“I thought it was gonna be hard but this is… hard. I’ve got the visas to sort, I can’t sort the visas until I’ve got a property, because of a fixed address, my brain is so fried. There are little kids involved who didn’t ask for this change,” she said.

“I need more than a drink, I need a bottle with a straw. I think Italy is an amazing country. We’ve just not been able to find the right accommodation, and I think we’re gonna have to start looking a bit further afield. It’s a very fortunate problem to have, but I’m not going to deny it’s f**king stressful. It was a literal wash out, but hopefully we’re going to have more luck with schools.”

Rebekah said they had to go together as a family unit when Jamie got the call to join the Italian side.

Explaining their decision to move, Rebekah shared: “Some people would say it’s really drastic uprooting and moving all the kids when they’re so settled, and it’s only a two hour flight away, but the reality is we’re a family unit. You either keep the family together or you both live very different lives. Splitting up the family just was not an option for us.”

She said that uprooting was “subconsciously quite triggering” for her because of her parents splitting up as a kid.

“It takes me back to when I was younger, and my mum and dad split up. We ended up moving around quite a bit, ended up going to quite a few different schools, so I never really got attached to any one place, and it really, really made me incredibly insecure. And as a result of that, I always find it really hard to find a sense of belonging,” she said.
