Welcome back

State parliament has kicked off again for the second day this week, with an afternoon sitting as per typical Wednesday tradition.

As MPs took their seats in the chamber from 2pm, Attorney-General Deb Frecklington and Child Safety Minister Amanda Camm held a snap press conference outside.

The pair were there to answer questions about the final report of the Commission of Inquiry into Queensland’s child safety system, which had just been tabled.

We’ll bring you the highlights of today’s session throughout the afternoon.
