Avan Jogia Of ‘Backrooms’ Is Getting Married? Spotted At Sabyasachi Store Trying Outfit With Fiancee

Backrooms has crossed the USD 100 million marker at the domestic box office and became the first A24 movie to do so. It was able to pull off the milestone within just the first six days. Film is also loved for Avan Jogia, who has been in the industry for the last two decades. Apart from his professional milestone, fans are wondering if a wedding is on the cards for Avan as he was spotted with his fiancee, Halsey, trying out bridal ensembles.

For the unversed, Halsey and Avan Jogia are the most loved celebrity couple. The two made headlines when they were spotted in Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s store. It is worth mentioning that Sabyasachi is a celebrated Indian designer, known for dressing countless Indian brides on their big day. In the photo, Avan was dressed in a contrasting ensemble with his fiancée, Halsey, who looked pretty in a maroon ensemble which perfectly suited her. Soon, buzz about their wedding surfaced as the two were posing like a married couple.

Avan Jogia and Halsey’s love story

For those who don’t know, Halsey is a famous American singer, known for being verbal about mental health, motherhood and many more subjects. Avan and Halsey’s love story made headlines when they were spotted together in September 2023 in Los Angeles. The two got engaged in September 2024 after a year of making their relationship official. Avan has always heaped praises on Halsey in many of his interviews. In an interaction with People, Avan shared how Halsey supports him in his work and stated that she was the most understanding partner. He was quoted as saying:

“It sort of completes the circle for me, as an artist, just to have somebody that you can come home to and be able to work out your day with.  mean, this is the joy.”

Halsey also never stops admiring her beau in public. On his birthday earlier in 2026, Halsey paid tribute. She revealed how much she loves him and how kind he is. She had written:

“I love him so much it fist fights out my body. He is fiercely intelligent. His kindness seems impossible but proves otherwise daily. He is funny, talented and annoyingly likable. He is going to make/do incredible things in this lifetime and this birthday is barely a tick in that timeline. I am giddy to know him. I am blessed to spend my life with him. I love him I love him I love him so. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”

Avan Jogia wrote a movie for Halsey

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Avan was questioned about writing a movie with his fiancée, and asked how it happened. To this, Avan revealed that it is his life’s joy to be able to live and collaborate with the person he loves. He revealed that Halsey is extremely talented in every medium, and since they have similar writing sensibility the decided to co-write the film. When the interviewer called it romantic to write a movie for your love. Avan replied:

“Yeah, that should have been something that happened, but it didn’t because you took this different dimension jump, but there’s a dimension where you could have been doing this and doing this and doing this. And part of loving someone is also being able to see all the different versions of them that could have been or that might yet still be.”
