
The Jets are in the middle of their offseason program with training camp still nearly two months away. But players say they can sense a different vibe around the team in Aaron Glenn’s second season as head coach.
“Yeah, man, there’s a real sense of urgency, I think, from everybody in here just to be at our best every day,” center Josh Myers said Tuesday after the team’s OTA practice. “I just feel like I can feel it, starting from the top down.”
The media was allowed to watch Tuesday’s practice and while it was hard to detect the sense of urgency that Myers referred to, there is no mistaking this is a very different-looking team than last year. Darren Mougey and Glenn executed a roster overhaul this offseason. Now we’ll see if it pays dividends.
