George Knight recently left the villa within a few days after the show began. He has already been grabbing the attention, with a secret mission along with another contestant, Yasmine. As George has left the villa abruptly, the Love Island viewers have been wondering what could possibly be the reason. Why did George Knight leave Love Island?

Just hours after letting the viewers know about his presence, George Knight has left the Mallorca villa. The 28-year-old professional football player entered the show with bombshell, Yasmine, and left abruptly. ITV2 rep recently revealed to The Sun that George Knight left Love Island, for private reasons. The details about the reason for George’s departure have not been revealed. Reportedly, viewers will get to see him on the show through some already filmed content; however, it cannot be confirmed whether his abrupt exit will be shown.

George Knight’s brief stint in Love Island

The sudden exit of George Knight from the show left the viewers confused, and he left just before his storyline could have developed. He entered the show as one of the newest bombshells and was expected to cause some shakeups. While his stint was brief, he already left a mark and ended up making a few connections in the villa. He spoke to a few contestants and revealed his dating interest while exploring his connection to Mica and Robyn Langton. Robyn is a 21-year-old quantity surveyor, and is with a 25-year-old electrician, Samuel Workman.

George reportedly asked her if she would join him in a hideaway bed, and although she was flattered, she said she needed time to ponder it. George also flirted a bit with Mica, as reported. Before leaving, George let the audience know about his presence with a secret mission as he and Yasmine were given a power by host Maya Jama to decide which boy and which girl would leave the show. While the decision was nearly hidden to the end, Ellie and Samraj had to leave. Well, with George’s sudden exit, the audience had been left confused.

For the unversed, George Knight is a professional footballer from Winchester. He is one of the token football players of this year, and if a report by The Tab is to be believed, he recently signed up for Dorking Wanderers FC. According to his manager, George is a good player with the right aggression and versatility. Before joining Dorking, he was also associated with Bracknell Town FC, Aldershot, and Reading FC, and he played in both defence and midfield in the States, and as a midfielder for Dorking. He is delighted to join the club as well, and speaking about the same, he said:
