The reunion proves some bonds can stay strong even after divorce.

Photos from the ceremony showed the former couple posing proudly with Lola, who looked radiant in a light green sundress. At one point, the Aquaman star was seen helping his daughter with her Hawaiian lei and giving her a kiss on the cheek before the celebrations began.

In previous interviews, Momoa had admitted that Bonet had been his childhood crush ever since he saw her on The Cosby Show when he was 8 years old.

For those unaware, Jason and Lisa share a significant age gap, and the latter was already 20 years old and married to her ex-husband, Lenny Kravitz, when she starred on The Cosby Show. For the 8-year-old Hawaii native, seeing the much-older Lisa on screen was love at first sight. In a 2017 interview with James Corden, the actor recalled pointing towards Bonet on the screen and “I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one.’ “

After two years of dating, Momoa and Bonet welcomed their daughter, Lola, in 2007, and the year after, they welcomed their son, Nakoa-Wolf, in 2008. Reports later revealed that Jason and Lisa had quietly separated in 2020, long before they made their separation public. The estranged spouses publicly announced their separation in a joint statement, citing “transformational times” as the reason. A part of the now-deleted statement read:

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times…and our family is of no exception… And so~ We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage… The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. Two years after publicly announcing their separation, Bonet officially filed for divorce in January 2024, and it was surprisingly granted the very next day. The former couple agreed on joint custody arrangements for their children and waived any claims for spousal support. However, while the marriage had officially ended, Momoa repeatedly emphasized that their family remained intact. During an appearance at the 2022 Oscars, Momoa had said, “We’re not back together, we’re family.”
