Vijayawada:Andhra Pradesh police have issued a Look Out Circular against the three accused in a case of job and visa fraud linked to UK-based YouTubers Jagarlamudi Madhukar, his wife Rama Nandana and his father Mohan Rao.
A complaint had been lodged by a victim identified as Siva Kranthi Kumar from Kothuru village in Ibrahimpatnam mandal of NTR district in November last year, alleging that he had been cheated by Destiny Consultancy director Madhukar, his wife and his father. The trio took ₹15 lakh from him to renew his visa and arrange a certificate of sponsorship for his wife. But they failed to do so.
Following the complaint, Ibrahimpatnam police booked a case. The accused refunded ₹2 lakh when the complainant flagged the issue with the police.
Sources say several students from both AP and Telangana have become victims of Madhukar after paying hefty money with a hope of getting employment in the UK and assistance in visa renewal.
Some reports indicate that the accused have moved the AP High Court for quashing the FIR booked against them with the Ibrahimpatnam police station.
