Warangal: SR University held its fourth convocation in Warangal on Wednesday, presided over by Chancellor A. Varada Reddy.
The university conferred an honorary doctorate on Deepika Reddy, a Padma Shri awardee, for her contribution to Indian classical dance, particularly Kuchipudi.
The ceremony was attended by V. Ramgopal Rao, who participated as chief guest and addressed the graduating students.
Vice-chancellor Deepak Garg said the university had secured a place among the top 100 institutions in the National Institutional Ranking Framework for four consecutive years and was also recognised in the World University Rankings 2026.
The convocation marked the conferment of degrees and recognition of academic achievements.
