During the latest episode of Katie Price’s podcast, she refused to talk about the ongoing drama surrounding her husband Lee Andrews, as her sister suggested the star acted like a ‘kn*b’
Katie Price refused to talk about her husband Lee Andrews on a recent episode of her podcast. The former glamour model had previously been incredibly open and upfront about the drama surrounding her husband following his ‘disappearnace’ in May.
After claiming Lee had been found in a Dubai prison, where he had allegedly been taken after being arrested on suspicion of espionage, Katie had continued to keep fans updated – until her most recent podcast episode. The star and her sister, Sophie, decided they would not talk about Lee in the episode released on 11 June, as they had planned a special Lee-focused episode later.
Katie said: “We’re skipping the Lee stuff – it’s got so out of hand and I just need some quiet from it.” Sophie agreed that they were moving past the drama for that episode, but had some choice words about her sister’s behaviour, implying she would be embarrassed later on.
She added: “I think you’ll look back in a few years and think ‘Actually, I was a bit of a kn*b back then and this whole situation was nuts.’”
Since Katie married Lee, there has been speculation that the whole Price family, including Sophie, were growing tired of Katie’s antics, particularly once Lee ‘went missing’, but Sophie has never confirmed this.
Katie responded to her sister suggesting she’d acted like a kn*b. She said: “It is a bit nuts, but as I’ve said, there’s so much stuff that I can’t even keep on top of everything myself. I’m in good spirits.”
Katie continued to say that after the special podcast episode on Lee, she was going to stop talking about it completely: “The Lee and me situation, I’m just going to keep to myself.”
The podcast episode comes just after Katie refused to pay the £140,000 reportedly needed to secure Lee’s release from prison. Initial reports claimed that Lee required a four-figure sum to be released. But, it has now been suggested that he will have to pay a whopping £140,000 for his freedom.
While Lee claims to be a millionaire, he asked his wife to launch a GoFundMe to help fund his release, which would see members of the public part with their cash. Katie refused to do so, telling her husband that “everyone hates you”.
But while Lee is behind bars, life couldn’t be any more different for Katie, who has been enjoying her downtime in Brighton. The former glamour model embraced the sunshine as she went about her day through The Lanes, wearing a cropped black T-shirt that revealed her heavily tattooed torso.
Price, 48, completed her look with a pair of white mesh trousers, a small bag across her chest, and trainers. But in pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, she was also seen wearing a microphone for her outing, suggesting it is being recorded for her upcoming documentary or YouTube channel.
