Brooklyn Beckham has spoken out over his illustrious career, admitting there are times he ‘can come across as annoying’

Brooklyn Beckham has opened up about his various career moves, confessing that he can sometimes “come across as annoying”.

The 27-year-old – son of Victoria and David Beckham – has grown up under the glare of the spotlight as part of the famous family, but cut ties with his parents in January.

Over the years, he has publicly explored many passions, including photography and cooking, before launching hot sauce brand Cloud23 in 2024.

During a talk at Tribeca Film Festival in New York, the budding foodie revealed that he and wife Nicola Peltz drunkenly came up with the idea while in their own kitchen.

“Four years ago I was trying to work out what I wanted to do with my life, what I wanted to do for work,” he said, via the DailyMail. “Basically my wife and I got really drunk in our apartment while making hot sauce.

“I watched a short little video on how to make it and the next day I tried it again. I really wanted to see what I could create.”

“I’m always calling the CEO on Sunday at 10pm with a crazy idea of what direction we might go in or a condiment idea. I’ll call with a ridiculous idea,” he added. “I can come across as annoying sometimes.”

Brooklyn unveiled his hot sauce brand two years ago, with his family by his side at the launch party.

“It’s been a passion project of mine for the last two-and-a half years, something I’ve literally put everything into,” he said at the time. “I’ve never worked so hard on anything in my life.”

His comments come just weeks after Victoria shed light on motherhood, explaining that she feels “so blessed and lucky” with her children – including Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Keeping tight-lipped over their ongoing drama with their eldest son, she told the Times that there is “a big difference between supporting your children” and “forcing them” into doing something.

“All we’ve ever done with any of the children is support them, encourage them and help them and, individually, they’ve all found what they love and what their sense of purpose is,” she insisted.

“When the three boys used to play football, one by one they decided that that wasn’t for them and that’s okay, there was no pressure, whatever makes them.

“So, that’s all you can do. I just want them to feel fulfilled and I love how driven they are all. I always say, ‘Dream big and then dream even bigger’.

“I think it’s wonderful for us to see that our children… They have passion, they have work ethic, they are driven, and I think that you have to lead by example when you have children.”
