Four persons, of a family, have gone missing after the boat they were travelling in capsized in Krishna river at Konur in Acchampet mandal, Palnadu district. Bodies of three children were recovered and efforts are on to recover the body of other missing person.
Reportedly, 10 people, of the same family, travelled in a boat to attend a family function at Konur. With the boat turning over while returning home, all of them fell in the water. While six of them were rescued by the villagers, four persons went missing. The victims were returning home when the accident occurred.
The deceased were identified as Gandham Sandhya, 9, Gandham Saini, 10, and Batthula Karthik, 12. Rescue operations is underway to trace Konatha Chaitanya, 28.
