He said he wanted a peaceful life away from his feud with his parents – but Brooklyn Beckham has stoked the fire yet again.

The hot sauce creator has released a new advert for US food delivery company DoorDash, in which he seemingly takes aim at his feud with parents David and Victoria Beckham, who are said to be ‘devastated’.

During the clip, Brooklyn smirks at the camera and says: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home… It’s a long story.” He then throws some tickets onto the coffee table next to him, as a cryptic message flashes on screen reading: “It’s complicated. More soon.”

After posting the clip on his Instagram page, the eldest Beckham sibling – who has accused his parents of trying to sully the name of his hieress wife Nicola Peltz – was hit with a slew of negative comments, slamming him for using his family heartbreak to make cash.

“He must’ve got paid big bucks for throwing shade,” one commented. “Love the fact that he got the gig because he is Beckham’s son, yet shades his father in the commercial,” another added.

“Very low Brooklyn! You need to learn some respect!” remarked a third, while another commented, “No hate just observation…..if you hate them so much drop the name and stop profiting from association.”

Meanwhile, eagle-eyed followers of the drama were quick to spot a series of apparent barbs for his relatives in the clip.

The cryptic ‘more soon’ undeniably lingered like a threat, leaving fans in little doubt that Brooklyn is not done spilling the tea on his relatives after his six-page missive earlier this year accusing them of putting fame over family.

Then there are the stack of unopened letters – which many believe could be a reference to his refusal to reply to his parents’ efforts to communicate. They have been instructed to only make contact via his lawyers.

It also comes two days after his baby sister Harper 14, was photographed visiting his Beverly Hills home on Friday afternoon and reportedly leaving a hand-written letter. Neither Brooklyn or Nicola were home at the time and branded the visit a “staged photo opportunity”.

However, others have argued that photographers were already there hoping to get a shot of Brooklyn while David received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame that same day.

Another potential dig came in the form of the watch on the coffee table. Brooklyn has been wearing the £250,000 Patek Philippe Nautilus watch that was given to him by his father. But in the clip, he seemingly shakes off this association by pointedly displaying a new one on the table.

Then there are the World Cup references with former footballer David having played in three tournaments in 1998, 2002 and 2006.

The savage advert has riled up the Beckhams with one family friend reportedly telling the Daily Mail: “To do an advert based on estrangement from family as if it’s a joke when his family is devastated and his sister and grandparents are inconsolable is shocking. Especially from someone who claims he wants peace and privacy.”

So what does Brooklyn’s latest outburst mean for the future of Brand Beckham and Brand Brooklyn? Why, after pleading for privacy, would Brooklyn do something so public and for what purpose given that he’s married to the billionaire heiress of Wendy’s burger chain.

PR to the stars Mayah Riaz believes Brooklyn may have let his emotions get the better of him and affect his judgement, telling The Mirror: “What could look like a deliberate dig to outsiders can often be an expression of frustration, hurt or an even a desire to regain control of a narrative that they feel is out of their hands.”

“Brooklyn is already a well-known name and doesn’t need controversy to generate headlines. If anything, family feuds are usually more damaging than they are beneficial in the long term. This is because they can overshadow everything else someone is trying to do professionally. Whether it’s intentional or not, his actions are inevitably going to keep the story alive.

“The contradiction is that publicly asking for peace while continuing to make gestures that fuel speculation does create confusion. It sends mixed messages. If your goal is privacy, the most effective strategy is usually silence.”

Brooklyn is set to cash in with DoorDash, which will top up his already staggering £7.4 million net worth. The aspiring chef who shares his recipes with his 16.4 million followers, while also being embroiled in a huge fallout, which deteriorated dramatically after he and Nicola didn’t attend David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May last year.

But Mayah warns that if not handled correctly, Brooklyn’s actions could come with a heavy cost.

“I think the risk for Brooklyn is that the longer this continues, the more the narrative shifts from a family disagreement to a personal brand issue. At some point, the story stops being about what happened and starts becoming about how it’s being handled.

“What Brooklyn needs to understand is that whether he likes it or not, this is a high-profile family feud. Therefore, his silence will speak louder than statements, but his public actions will speak louder than both.”
