The sudden death of American singer, Oliver Tree has left his fans heartbroken. For the unversed, Oliver tragically passed away in a helicopter crash. According to reports, the tragic incident occurred in the early hours of June 14, 2026, when two helicopters collided. The crash in Rio de Janeiro claimed 6 lives, and Oliver was one of them. Amid this, Oliver’s last video has resurfaced, sparking online conspiracy theories.

The untimely demise of Oliver Tree at 32 was indeed shocking and heartbreaking. After a fun-filled trip to Brazil, Oliver passed away in a tragic helicopter crash. According to reports, one of the two helicopters crashed into the parking lot of an electric vehicle dealership, sparking a fire that set 20 vehicles ablaze. It took some time for the firefighters to extinguish the fire. Along with Oliver Tree, the crash claimed the lives of Argentine YouTuber, Gasper Prim Diaz, video director, Lucas Vignale, music producer, Lucas Brito, and the pilots of both the helicopters.

Oliver Tree’s old video from April 2026 has resurfaced after his sudden death at 32. In the now-viral clip, the 32-year-old singer mentioned that his new album was cancelled and that he “is parting ways with Atlantic Records.” Oliver also claimed that he did not have any marketing budget and clearly no support from them, stating, “I made a lot of money for them, but they seemed to not remember.” The 32-year-old singer added that the music was owned by Atlantic Records and that he would not be releasing any music in the recent days. For the uninitiated, Oliver became an independent artist in April 2026, and immediately launched his fourth studio album, Love You Madly, Hate You Badly, under his own label, Alien Boy Records.

Oliver Tree’s last video sparked conspiracy theories online

Although Oliver did not directly state anything about the danger he might face, he strongly criticised Atlantic Records and openly expressed his dissatisfaction with the label. Now, a social media user posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Oliver Tree’s last video on the Internet is currently resurfacing, and he revealed that he feels his life is in danger after he left his record label, Atlantic Records.” Right after the video resurfaced, conspiracy theories surrounding his untimely death developed on social media. A user wrote, “His death was for sure not a coincidence.” However, a social media user slammed the user for the conspiracy theory and wrote:

“Now these conspiracy theory addicts will start their stupid conspiracies.”

Another user wrote, “Stop this clickbait over the tragic loss of Oliver Tree.’ It’s sick.” A third user penned, “Classic internet moment: Old April Fools’ skit gets turned into ‘Final Warning’ conspiracy bait right after a real tragedy.” A fourth user wrote, “No conspiracy, he just happened to die. Sometimes life is more boring than people think.”

Tributes pour in for Oliver Tree

Soon after Oliver’s untimely death, fans and celebrities expressed their grief over his passing. A fan wrote, “We all love you, Oliver, you’re an angel, and I’m sure you’re putting on amazing shows in Heaven now. Love you.” Writer, Celina Myers wrote, “We will all miss you so much, you will live on in your music. Thank you for sharing your talent with us all. I’m glad we were on the planet together at the same time.” Oliver’s ex-girlfriend singer-songwriter, Melanie Martinez also paid a heartfelt tribute to him. She wrote:

“Been an absolute wreck today. It’s really hard to understand how someone with whom you once shared such a specific and formative time of your life can all of a sudden be gone. He was so dedicated to his art, which I admired and respected so deeply. I think everyone who knew him will look back at those moments of laughter and joy he so easily sparked. He had such a soft heart and was a true artist in every way. I know you’re making the angels giggle. I’ll be here wondering what stunt and creative project you’re scheming up in heaven.
