EXCLUSIVE: Harry Styles swapped stadium scale for a rare, intimate night at London’s Royal Festival Hall, reworking fan favourites with an orchestra and telling the crowd he’s aware he’s living through a “career highlight
Harry Styles delivered a spellbinding performance playing to one of the smallest crowds of his career, that included fiancée Zoë Kravitz.
Amid a historic run of London dates, the 32-year-old singer admitted he is ‘so aware’ that he is currently living through a ‘career highlight.’
Trading the high-octane energy of Wembley Stadium for a piano stool at the Royal Festival Hall, the star reimagined his catalogue during a rare, intimate collaboration with the Jules Buckley Orchestra.
“Hello Wembley. Thank you so much everyone for being here tonight,” Harry joked at the start of his set, alluding to his record-breaking residency that started on Friday.
“It feels both present and incredibly not present to be aware that you’re in the middle of your career highlight. For me this is an incredible month,” said Harry. “If anyone has been to the tour it’s a little bit different tonight in case you can’t tell. There will be no nipples! Unless Jules has one too many chocolate digestives.”
After curating the Southbank Centre’s 2026 Meltdown Festival, Harry was joined by composer and collaborator Buckley for his special one-off performance.
During the night, Harry sang tracks across his four albums including Paint By Numbers, Fine Line, Two Ghosts and Matilda with the orchestra providing a moving backdrop.
“I’ve always been a lover of orchestral music, classical music, and it’s quite an intimidating field to step into as someone who doesn’t, cannot, read music,” he admitted. Harry praised Buckley for making him feel welcome. “He never made me feel like I didn’t belong in any way. It’s been beautiful collaborating with him.”
Buckley has helped the singer with the string arrangements for his Together, Together tour, which kicked off in May.
Styles also sang Carla’s Song from his latest album and explained how it was was written about watching a friend listen to Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water for the first time.
“It was like watching someone see a magic trick for the first time,” he said. “Music is magic and I feel so lucky to get to be a part of it in just a small way. These things are around for so much longer than any of us. Nights like tonight I feel incredibly privileged to get to play with such incredibly talented musicians.”
Harry ended the show with a rendition of the 1970 song, which led to an immediate standing ovation.
His fiancée actress Zoe Kravitz was also in the crowd and joined the 2000 fans on their feet. During the night, Harry was seen gazing in Zoe’s direction and even gave her a small salute during one song.
The pair were first romantically linked in August 2025. In April 2026 the Spiderman actress was seen wearing a diamond engagement ring while sharing a kiss with Harry in London sparking rumours of an engagement.
A source confirmed to People that the couple is, in fact, engaged. According to the magazine, Styles, 32, and Kravitz, 37, shared the happy news with a “small circle” of friends and loved ones.
Zoe joined Harry’s mum Anne to see the former One Direction star open up his Wembley run last Friday.
He is set to smash the record for the most performances by any artist in a single year at Wembley Stadium, beating Coldplay’s record of 10 performances there last year as well as Taylor Swift’s record for the most concerts performed at the national stadium by a solo artist during a single concert run.
The Watermelon Sugar singer released his fourth studio album in March and is weeks into his global tour with upcoming dates in New York, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne and Sydney.
He rose to fame as a member of One Direction – alongside Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson – after the group was formed on ITV singing competition The X Factor in 2010.
He launched his solo career after he and his bandmates went on hiatus in 2016, almost a year after Malik left the group, and he has gone on to achieve global success, winning multiple Grammy and Brit awards.
The evening’s orchestral setlist was:
