Lee Andrews has posted an emotional message for Katie Price online as the former glamour model sticks by her husband despite his one-month stint in Dubai jail

Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has made a public declaration of love to the former glamour model after she battled weeks of controversy surrounding their relationship while he was imprisoned.

Lee, who was recently reunited with Katie in Dubai after being released from jail, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message dedicated to his wife.

He shared a romantic reel on his story of a couple holding hands and walking into the sunset along what appeared to be a mountain path, and added his own spin on the caption to demonstrate his feelings for Katie.

The original post read: “OK I lied. my first real love is happening right now. and yes, it feels strange that I once called anything else love.” Lee added his own message to the clip, writing: “It’s always been you @katieprice.”

His sentimental tribute to his wife comes after a turbulent couple of weeks for the couple, whose relationship came under scrutiny after Lee disappeared and was subsequently confirmed to be imprisoned in Dubai.

Katie publicly expressed concern for her husband after losing contact with him, and initially feared he may have been kidnapped. It later emerged that Lee had been detained in Al Awir Central Prison in the Middle East for fraud allegations, although he insists he was locked up for espionage concerns.

After his release earlier this week, Lee praised Katie for her support throughout the ordeal, claiming he may not have been let out of jail without her intervention.

When he was no longer behind bars he took to social media, telling fans: “I am sending these messages out to my loved ones and my beautiful wife who without her help involving all the UK authorities, I don’t think I would have got out of that situation. So thank you to Katie for making such a noise that the UAE actually listened and let me go.”

Katie flew to Dubai to spend time with her husband after he was freed. Although they have posted affectionate content about each other on social media since Lee’s release, their relationship has been challenged by the whole ordeal, especially as his ex partners Alana Percival and Dina made allegations of financial mishandling while he was locked up that Lee has strongly denied.

In a video he posted after getting out of jail, he addressed the accusations directly, insisting: “There’s not one shred of evidence where I’ve taken a mortgage in someone else’s name, particularly in my ex fiancée’s name Dina.

“If I was to take a mortgage in somebody else’s name, wouldn’t she get that mortgage? How does it work? What would I benefit from signing her name? That’s definitely not the case. So, let her bring the mortgage paper.

“This is a story that’s got out and has come from Alana, my ex who I was with for one minute, I was engaged to her for six days maximum. I didn’t spend any time with her, I was maximum with her for thirty days total and she has never been scammed.

“In fact I bought her everything. If you refer to her first article, because she’s just fame hungry, where she said I bombarded her, got her the car, got her the apartment which is true, paid for her dad, gave her money, gave her dad money.” The Mirror has contacted Lee Andrews for comment.

Katie admitted she has questions for her husband about his arrest and claims that his exes have made. She told The Sun: “I need answers, and if I don’t like the answers, I’ll be gone.”

However, the former glamour model has repeatedly defended her decision to stand by Lee despite criticism. On Monday she proudly showed off a piece of bling that Lee bought for her, posting: “Mr and Mrs. Love my new ring.”
