While performing at Wembley Stadium as part of his 12-night residency, Harry Styles stopped singing for a few minutes in order to help a fan who couldn’t find her sister
Harry Styles halted his concert in London while performing a song as he realised a fan needed help.
The 32-year-old singer is performing a historic 12-night residency at Wembley Stadium from June 12 to July 4 as part of his Together, Together global tour. During his gig on Friday, June 19, Harry stopped singing his 2026 track Taste Back so he could help a fan.
Footage shared on social media shows the former One Direction star asking a member of the audience, “What’s that? You can’t find your sister?” He then said, “What’s your sister’s name?”
After a brief pause, he appeared to communicate with security staff, who rushed to the fan’s help. Before resuming the concert, Harry once again spoke to his fan, to ensure she was okay.
“You looked very concerned,” he told her, before adding, “You’re good? Have you found her?” As fans cheered, the pop star asked whether everyone was well, before saying, “We’re good.”
Sharing a clip of the incident on X, a fan wrote, “harry helping someone find their sister and making sure everyones alright. harry helping someone find their sister and making sure everyones alright.”
As he kicked off his Wembley residency last week, Harry reflected on his early days in One Direction – a rare mention of the band on his tours. Thanking his sister Gemma for bringing him to Wembley for his X Factor audition 16 years ago, he said this part of the city would always hold a special place in his heart.
He told the 90,000 fans packed into the stadium on June 12: “Well, it is an absolute pleasure to be here at Wembley Stadium. Thank you so much for allowing us to do these shows here. Thank you for coming. I’m aware I don’t get to do this if you guys don’t come.”
In a nod to the nearby arena where he first got put in the chart-topping band, he told fans: “Just outside this building – at Wembley Arena 16 years ago, my sister brought me to London for the very first time for my X Factor audition. Driving here today, and any time I come to Wembley, it means so much to me.”
Harry then paid a heartfelt tribute to One Direction – which includes Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and the late Liam Payne – as he spoke about the start of his journey. “It’s right in that building next door where I was put into a band, One Direction,” he said.
“Driving here today, I drove the same way that I used to come when I first went to that building and Gemma brought me in. She’s here tonight and I’m honestly very proud of her.”
He also got emotional as he thanked his mother Anne for her support over the years, including signing him up for The X Factor. “16 years ago my mother signed me up for the X Factor without my knowledge, and I wouldn’t be here today if she hadn’t had done that. And she’s here tonight, thank you so much,” he said as he nodded towards where she was sat.
“You changed my life – all of you – so much,” he said – and in a nod to the infamous line from his track Dance No More, which was adorned on many fans’ t-shirts around the venue, he added: “Remember, respect your mother!”
