Pop singer Dua Lipa has shared romantic photographs from her Italian wedding day with actor husband Callum Turner
Dua Lipa has stunned fans by sharing intimate photographs from her luxury wedding to Callum Turner. The 30-year-old pop star swapped vows with the 36-year-old actor in front of friends, family and loved ones in Sicily, Italy, this month.
The Levitating singer looked like she was on cloud nine as she posed for passionate photos alongside her new husband as they cemented their marriage at the historic Villa Valguarnera on 6 June. A week prior, the couple had said “I do” a first time at their official marriage at Marylebone Town Hall in London.
Taking to Instagram this weekend, Dua gave fans an up close look at her big day by sharing photographs from the romantic celebration. A cover image showed both Dua and Callum in a close embrace beneath the lace veil of her designer wedding dress.
The singer chose a pristine ivory gown from Chanel to walk down the aisle in – while Callum wore a Louis Vuitton suit. The pair looked a million dollars – while reports have suggested their big day cost an estimated £1.5 million.
Both husband and wife looked smitten with each other as they posed for the photographs, taken by celebrated fashion photographer David Sims. The couple gazed in each others eyes as they posed beneath the veil – with loving hands on each others’ cheek and shoulder.
A striking black and white image showed the pair posing in front of the huge villa which was the venue for their wedding – with Dua’s huge bride dress train flowing out behind her. The bejewelled, sleeveless and backless gown was coated in white feathers – adding an extravagant texture to the haute couture gown.
A further snap showed the singer shouting in celebration while her new husband popped open a bottle of champagne like a well trained silver service waiter. Partygoers gathered around the couple as they prepared to help them celebrate their love at the extravagant Italian destination wedding.
As fans scrolled through the collection of images that Dua shared to the main grid of her Instagram, they could see other moments from the romantic event. The star and her Fantastic Beasts actor husband danced enthusiastically together – and another black and white image showed them posing romantically together as he kept a hand on her lower back.
Other snaps showed them goofing around in front of the camera, posing solo, and caught in another romantic moment – seemingly leaning into each other to enjoy a passionate kiss. The comments section of Dua’s post was filled with messages of congratulations from fans and fellow celebrities alike.
American pop sensation Katy Perry was among those commenting on the treasure trove of wedding photos, writing: “sweetie babies” along with a red heart emoji. While another fan typed: “JAW DROPPED. Congratulations beautiful! Happy hearts forever!”
It has been little over two years since Dua and Callum met – having first begun their romantic journey together at the beginning of 2024. It has been reported that they met at a party in Los Angeles where they struck up conversation about reading the same novel Trust by Hernan Diaz.
A slew of stars were on hand at their 2026 wedding to watch them promise to Trust each other until death do them part – with pop singer Charli XCX and fashion icon Donatella Versace said to have been among the guests. And the couple had additional star support from Sir Elton John who reportedly performed his hit Your Song during the wedding.
Albanian music and dancing was enjoyed by guests as Dua brought elements of her Albanian heritage to the celebrations – while details of the reception have revealed that Michelin-recognised chef Tony Lo Coco supplied food for the glamorous event.
The wedding menu was reported to include Anelletti alla Norma – a Sicilian aubergine and pasta dish, Sicilian chickpea fritters, and crocché. And along with slices of wedding cake, guests were treated to dessert of cannoli and cassata.
Fans have noted that the pair have been enjoying their honeymoon around Italy – where the newlyweds have been snapped lapping up the sunshine at the luxury San Domenico Palace hotel in Taormina near Catania.
Reports have suggested the new Mr and Mrs Turner will soon ditch the UK for a new life in the USA. It has been reported that Callum is set to film projects back to back in the States – with Dua expected to join him when he relocated there for work.
He is said to be filming a remake of the 1981 horror Possession alongside Margaret Qualley before then starring in a baseball film titled The Comebacker, along with Tom Hanks. Callum told The Hollywood Reporter: “We work jobs where we have to go around the world.
“It’s important when we are home in London to be with our friends as much as possible. We make sure that we’re together as much as possible.”
