Katie Price alarmed fans when she showed off the painful result of her latest lip lift procedure. The 48-year-old mum-of-five is no stranger to going under the knife and earlier this week, the former glamour model revealed she had been to a specialist to have scar tissue removed from her lips.
Taking to social media on Saturday, she posed for a selfie alongside her teenage daughter, Princess, 18 – and uploaded the snap to Instagram.
The image showed the mother and daughter duo standing close together while both pouting directly to the camera, with the image giving fans a close up look at her recent procedure.
Katie shared the image alongside a simple caption that read: “My princess” and included a princess emoji. Fans were immediately drawn to Katie’s lips, however, which were surrounded by painful-looking bruises.
Earlier in the week, Katie shared news with her fans that she had undergone a fresh procedure on her face. Speaking to her fans via Instagram, she said: “Hey guys, yes, before you start, I know what I look like.
“Yesterday, I was in Brussels and I had all the scar tissue taken out of my lips so they’re really swollen at the moment,” before going on to promote her range of CBD gummies, insisting she “wouldn’t come on here looking like this” unless she really cared and that it wasn’t an advert.
Hours earlier, Katie had explained to her sister Sophie that she was going under the knife – and would be awake for the procedure. Speaking to sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show, she explained how she had flown to Dubai to reunite with husband, Lee Andrews. But on her return, she was set for her “lip correction”.
She told Sophie: “I’m doing my lip correction tomorrow. And I’m doing it awake, not on anaesthetic… going to Brussels because it needs doing.”
She pointed to her lips as she leaned in closer to the camera to show her sister precisely what she means. And she reiterated the fact she was having it done awake.
Meanwhile, Lee – who Katie married in January this year following a whirlwind romance – has this week been found to be making Cameo videos for fans. For a fee just shy of £17, the Dubai-based businessman can provide personalised videos to those that want them.
After one fan agreed to pay for a message, Lee hinted that he will soon ditch Dubai to return to the UK, where he will be able to spend quality time with his wife of five months.
A TikTok user with the handle Camillarhuda shared footage of a video she requested from Lee after she asked him for dating advice for others in long-distance UK-Dubai relationships. Amid his commentary, the businessman revealed: “I will be coming to the UK, despite what everyone’s saying.”
And hinting he may vacate the United Arab Emirates for a reasonable amount of time, he added: “I’m on my way soon, so I’ll be giving Dubai up a little bit.”
