Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam city traffic police extended timely assistance to four NEET aspirants on Sunday, ensuring they reached their examination centres despite traffic congestion and transport-related delays.
According to officials, the students were stranded at different locations across the city and were at risk of missing the examination. On receiving information, traffic police personnel responded promptly and facilitated their transportation to the respective centres.
Thanks to the swift intervention, all four candidates reached their examination venues on time and were able to appear for the test.
Parents and guardians appreciated the police for their quick response, saying the timely assistance helped the students avoid missing the highly competitive examination.
Meanwhile, a female candidate missed the examination after arriving late at the examination centre at Kendriya Vidyalaya near NAD Junction. She was denied entry and returned disappointed.
