Hyderabad: The PCC disciplinary action committee (DAC) on Sunday claimed to have resolved the internal party dispute between senior leader and government advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir and his rival from Kamareddy, Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy.
DAC chairman and MP Mallu Ravi summoned both leaders to Gandhi Bhavan, where they presented their statements. The committee intervened after growing differences between the two, which escalated recently when an audio clip leaked on social media allegedly featuring Shabbir Ali criticising party operations and lamenting that posts were being secured through money. The clip went viral, creating political buzz across the state.
Following the hearing, Mallu Ravi likened the committee’s role to a “family court” meant to counsel and unite members rather than penalise them. He said both leaders cooperated, resolved their grievances and agreed to work together without further disputes in public or on social media.
