Peter Andre has addressed Lee Andrews’ recent claimed that he ‘adopted’ Katie Price’s children, despite not meeting them
Peter Andre has issued a blistering response after Lee Andrews claimed that he had adopted all five of Katie Price’s children.
Katie Price married the businessman at the beginning of the year following a whirlwind romance and, while he has yet to set foot in the UK following their nuptials, he claimed to have a strong bond with her family.
Although the businessman has yet to meet any of the glamour model’s kids, he raised eyebrows when he alleged that he had adopted them in a recent video message to a fan.
However, Peter – who shares Princess and Junior Andre with the Celebrity Big Brother star – has insisted that nothing could be further from the truth.
His rep denied Lee’s recent remarks and described them as “categorically untrue” and “yet another lie” from the self-proclaimed millionaire, who was recently released from prison.
Clearing things up even further where Princess and Junior were concerned, the Mysterious Girl singer’s spokesperson added to Metro: “They haven’t even met him!”
This comes just hours after it was reported that Lee claimed he had “adopted” Katie’s five children, while addressing a fan in a Cameo video.
“I haven’t got children, but we’re trying,” he said via the Sun. “I’ve adopted five of them. I love my wife and I love her children.”
Katie left fans shocked when she announced her marriage to Lee following a trip to Dubai in January – days after meeting him.
Their relationship sparked concern from her loved ones, who questioned his intentions after he had not joined her in the UK – it later emerged that he had a travel ban, and was unable to leave the UAE.
This isn’t the first time that his remarks about her children had raised eyebrows – he previously alleged that he had met some of her brood, thought to be her three oldest kids.
Her representative later came out to deny this, and it later emerged that he had only spoken to them on FaceTime, not in person.
She also shared she had no plans to introduce him to her youngsters until she had got to know him better.
Months after their big day, she confessed: “For me to introduce him to the kids, I won’t be introducing him to the kids yet, because I want to get to know him more myself.”
