Hannah Waddingham was beaming with joy as she was joined by new partner Nick Beresford-Cleary at a screening of her new show, Ride or Die.
The Ted Lasso actress is set to grace our screens once again in the eight-part Prime Video series, opposite Octavia Spencer and Bill Nighy.
Earlier this evening, the 51-year-old rocked up to the Ham Yard Hotel to celebrate her new project, and couldn’t help but grin widely as she posed for pictures beside her new beau.
She opted for a pink halterneck, ankle-length dress, paired with strappy sandals and minimal jewellery. Spine surgeon Nick looked dapper in a dark blazer and trousers, coupled with a crisp white shirt.
The pair were glowing as they posed for pictures together at the event, before Hannah enjoyed a reunion with co-star Octavia in front of cameras.
This marks their second red carpet event together, having made their debut earlier this month at the Variety Power Of Women event in London.
Hannah has yet to speak in depth about her budding new romance, but recently shed light on her love life, and explained that it took her almost a decade to even consider dating again.
She was in a long-term relationship with Gianluca Cugnetto for around 10 years, and welcomed daughter Kitty with the Italian businessman before they went their separate ways.
“It’s taken me eight years,” she told Women’s Health of finding a bond with Nick. “I didn’t really have the space mentally or emotionally for that. I’ve hunkered down and focused on my girl and me. [But] now I’m ready to stick my head above the parapet a bit more.”
At the suggestion of a “very good looking parapet”, she laughed and confirmed that “it is!”.
“And it’s really lovely too, obviously, my relationship. But the best thing about it is, firstly, being happy and strong in myself,” she added.
Appearing on the Table for Two podcast, she previously spoke of what she’s looking for in a partner, confessing: “I’m so busy and just a bit picky. I want a guy that scoops me up and goes, ‘I’ve got you, I don’t care if you’ve got your make-up on or not, I’m happy to lie in bed with you and have Marmite on toast and a glass of milk.’
“And just be a lovely positive, charismatic soul. I’m 50 and I’m like, ‘Dude, if you are not going to step up, step off and be gone. Sod off until someone fabulous comes along’. I’d rather hang with my girlfriends and gay friends and be respected.”
