Rock In Rio Lisboa weekend two is finally here, and there’s a huge host of famous names taking to the stage. The second weekend of the festival kicks off on Saturday, June 27, with legendary artists gracing the stage.
Last weekend, Katy Perry, Charlie Puth, Bebe Rexha, Linkin Park, Kaiser Chiefs and Diego Miranda performed for thousands of festivalgoers at the annual event.

Opening times
The City of Rock opens its gates at 1pm and closes at 3am on Saturday. The last entry to the venue is 00.15am. While on Sunday, the gates open at 1pm and close at 2am.

Sir Rod graced the very first Rock in Rio in 1985 and returned in 2008. This time, however, the Maggie May star will deliver a spectacular show, showcasing his remarkable back catalogue, featuring classics such as Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Forever Young and Sailing, Sir Rod’s set promises to be unforgettable.
Throughout his extraordinary six-decade career, the 81-year-old has shifted a staggering 250 million albums and singles globally, securing his status as one of history’s best-selling artists. He’s also claimed the Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the BRITs, alongside the Grammy Living Legend Award and not one, but two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions – not to mention receiving his knighthood from the late Queen Elizabeth in 2016.
