Megan Pickford soaked up the sights of New York and watched the theatre production of Harry Potter with her seven year old son Arlo ahead of England’s World Cup match tonight
Megan Pickford was certainly making the most of her time in America ahead of supporting England’s World Cup game this weekend, as she posted a brief clip of her enjoying a family day out in New York. The 30 year old wife of England’s goalkeeper Jordan Pickford shared with fans all the tourist attractions the city had to offer.
Seen in her TikTok video with her eldest son Arlo, seven, the WAG – who also has two other children with the footballer – was first seen enjoying a hibachi restaurant.
In the clip Arlo is seen sat behind the counter while the chef worked his magic. She captioned it saying “Arlo loved this guy.” Further into the video, which was set to Empire State of Mind, fans got to see the pair attend the Broadway production of Harry Potter.
They then made their way through a busy Times Square where they also saw a large picture of Jordan on a billboard in the middle of the bustling streets.
Jordan and Megan have known each other since they were teenagers – similar to Coleen and Wayne Rooney. The couple tied the knot in front of close friends and family in the Maldives, in 2022 after postponing it due to the pandemic.
They have three children together, Arlo, seven, two-year-old Ostara Haze and last year, they welcomed the third addition to their family, Misty Celine.
Following England’s win against Croatia recently, the nation was left in hope that this could be the year the team make it all the way to the final of the World Cup. But that dream stumbled when they played against Ghana this week, which resulted in a draw.
All eyes will be on Jordan, Harry Kane and co tonight when they take on Panama in New Jersey, where the final will be held next month.
According to reports, Megan has followed in the footsteps of the WAGs before her including Victoria Beckham, Coleen Rooney and Alex Gerrard by becoming the mother of the WAGs.
Watching England play Croatia in Dallas, she was spotted in the crowd donning a cowboy hat with a number one emblazoned on the front of it, in honour of her husband’s shirt number.
She teamed her look with a white vest top and a pair of designer jeans, Gucci sunglasses and a necklace of her daughter’s name.
“Some joke, in a kind way, that she’s a bit of a throwback to the old times but it’s just so refreshing,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “She loves it all – the outfits, the glamour and the prestigious role and column inches being a WAG brings. She is so proud of Jordan and so the least she can do is look the part to cheer him on.
“But in all seriousness, along with Kate Kane – wife of captain Harry – she is the longest-serving partner of the squad. This is her moment to shine, and she will.”
