The couple has been together for almost nine years, and after a whole lot of speculations, it was almost a year ago, when Georgina took to her social media and grabbed the attention with her massive ring, which became the talk of the town for a while. Well, since then, speculation about their wedding has been rife, and reports have claimed that it might take place after the World Cup. While nothing has been confirmed just yet, a report has given a hint about the estimated wedding date.

When is Georgina Rodriguez getting married to Cristiano Ronaldo?

According to Hola!, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez might get married in September 2026. While this has not been confirmed just yet, Ronaldo has earlier revealed to the same publication that he and Georgina would tie the knot after the World Cup. He also mentioned that he hoped to arrive at his wedding with the Champions Trophy. Speculations have been rife that the wedding could take place this summer.

Journal da Madeira also reported last year that the couple’s wedding might take place in the oldest religious building in Madeira, Funchal Cathedral, known as Se Catedral de Nossa Senhora da Assuncao, which was established back in 1514. This religious building is situated 2 miles away from where Ronaldo was born, as reported, and it’s also not far from the Nacional da Madeira field, where he began his journey as a football player. Speaking about his plans for the wedding, Ronaldo said:

“We’ll get married after the World Cup. And I hope to arrive at my wedding with the champion’s trophy.”

“I always tell her: ‘When we get that click.’ Like everything with our life, and she knows what I’m talking about. It could be in a year, or it could be in six months, or it could be in a month.”

While no details about their relationship are known, they have been each other’s constant, through all these years. The duo has been each other’s biggest support systems, and they have also been raising five children together. Back in August, Georgina announced her engagement with the caption, ‘Yes! I do. In this and in all my lives.’ The engagement ring was massive and instantly sparked gossip. Reportedly, it costs USD 3-5.5 million.
