First featured as part of the label’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, Silk Dialogue, the beige satin sari is handwoven using the traditional kadwa Banarasi weaving technique. Regarded as one of the most meticulous and labour-intensive handloom methods, kadwa involves weaving each motif individually into the sari resulting in detailed traditional motifs and patterns that appear flawless even when the drape is turned inside out. The sari features a floral embroidered border with fine gold details. The actor layered the sari look with a tonal shawl featuring tassles and a thread work corner design in pink. A matching blouse with a cut-out at the back completed the look.
Stylist Manisha Melwani accessorised the look with pieces from Tamannaah Fine Jewellery, the actor’s family jewellery venture, which she co-founded with her father in January 2026. The jewellery comprised climber earrings, a statement pearl necklace, bangles and a stack of rings. For beauty, Bhatia opted for minimal glam with defined lashes, blushed cheeks, tinted lips and a red bindi, while her hair was styled in a sleek bun.
From Vogue’s fashion desk:
“Add a pop of colour with multicoloured gemstones for the neck. One could elongate a silhouette of this nature by adding metallic sandals or barely there stilettos in neutral colours,” says Manglien Gangte, Vogue India fashion associate.
